Murarka College has established a dedicated Research and Development Cell (RDC) to foster an environment of academic inquiry, innovation, and intellectual growth. Several faculty members have received recognition for their valuable research contributions at both the national and international levels. Many teachers have published papers in UGC CARE-listed journals, presented their work at reputed conferences, and contributed chapters to edited academic volumes.
The Placement Cell, working in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), partners with national training organizations to enhance skill development and employment opportunities for students, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds. The college also engages in collaborative programs with reputed institutions to offer advanced training and professional development courses. Continuous counseling and career guidance sessions help students adapt to the dynamic demands of a globalized economy and evolving technologies.
The college’s extension and outreach programs are actively conducted under the banner of the National Service Scheme (NSS), with enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty. Various socially oriented initiatives — including campaigns on rural sanitation, environmental conservation, water resource management, biodiversity protection, tree plantation, and energy saving — are regularly organized on campus and in neighboring communities. The National Cadet Corps (NCC) units also play a vital role in organizing road safety awareness drives and promoting civic responsibility.
